Mount Carmel Hospital is a Critical Access hospital serving a three county area in Northeast Washington.  Located in Colville, our hospital opened in 1919, was purchased in 1940 by the Dominican Sisters, and in 1993 the Dominicans transferred sponsorship of the hospital to the Sisters of Providence.

As a member of Providence Health and Services, Mount Carmel Hospital is one of 12 ministries in Eastern Washington, who together provide our region with a full continuum of medical care services. These range from health and skilled nursing care to the region’s most advanced hospital care.

Today, Mount Carmel Hospital is a progressive, full service hospital offering advanced medical and surgical care as well as specialty support and outpatient services.
